Our Trainee Programs are the direct route to responsible positions. As a trainee, you’ll work in a variety of departments and be responsible for tasks in exciting projects. You’ll complete special qualifications and work with people throughout the company, building a cross-functional, interdisciplinary network of contacts as you go. Trainee - Collection

Duration:         18 - 24 months

Start:                 Every April and October

Your Goal

After completing our Trainee Program, you take over a responsible functional or management position in ourCollection department.

Your Environment

As specialized outsourcing partners in collection, we look after our customers’ factoring, accounting and reminder processes. We design tailored reminder strategies for our customers which also cover complex and high-volume transactions, with the objective of maximizing collection outcomes.

The Program

During your 18–24-month trainee program, you familiarize yourself with Arvato Financial Solutions and our Collection operations from a variety of perspectives, gain expertise in collection processes and specific products, and have the opportunity to build networks of professional contacts. In preparing for your future position, you advance your professional, personal and method-related skills by taking accompanying off-the-job qualification courses. Our mentors and HR consultants provide individual support throughout the program.

Trainee in B2B Finance Marketing

Duration:          18 - 24 months

Your Goal

After completing our Trainee Program, you take over a responsible sales/marketing position in our B2B Finance department.

Your later role in our Sales/Marketing operation includes the following tasks:

  • Proactive sales of our products in the B2B Finance sector, including customer contacts, telemarketing, new customer acquisition
  • Activation of new customer acquisition sources, development and ongoing optimization of own sales concepts
  • Establishment of regional network and management of network of intermediaries and finders
  • Preliminary examination of business documents and production of market-side loan applications
  • Cost calculations and production of quotations
  • Close collaboration with Customer Management / Back Office
  • Attendance of customer events, trade shows etc.

Management Associate - High-Caliber start to Your Career

After a short telephone interview, we hold an interview of around 90 minutes to enable both sides to get to know each other. You will have the opportunity to showcase your specialist skills by working on a case study.

International Executive Assistants Days

Our International Executive Assistants Days provide the opportunity to network with colleagues from all over the world and exchange useful information about Arvato and the whole Bertelsmann Group. The last two-day event in Gütersloh attracted 60 Executive Assistants from four countries, and was the first such event to be extended to other areas of Bertelsmann.

This network of Executive Assistants offers members the chance to visit a range of events, including round table discussions and informal meals with top executives. Assistants are also invited to action events, such as climbing expeditions and an annual sailing trip on Ijsselmeer.
